Biography
Bianca Rocca, MD, PhD, FESC is Full Professor of Pharmacology at the Libera Universita’ Mediterranea-LUM (Casamassima, Bari, Italy). She trained as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA, USA) and as a Haematologist at the Catholic University of Rome. She has served as Chairperson of the ESC Working Group on Thrombosis and is the current Chair-elect of the ESC WG on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. She is member of the ESC Committee for Practice Guidelines, has participated in Guidelines from the ESC, EACTS and EHA. She has received acknowledgements from the ESC for her activity in the Guidelines, is a member of the Editorial Board of EHJ-Cardiovascular Pharmacology, and EHJ–Quality of Care and Clinical Outcome. She has co-authored over 200 publications, H-index 62. Scientific interests: cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, antithrombotic drugs, haemostasis, precision pharmacology, trial methodology.
