He is an associate professor of Cardiology at The University of São Paulo, since 2002. Director of the Echocardiography at the Heart Institute (InCor), University of São Paulo since 2005. Pioneering: Introduced stress echocardiography in Brazil. In the same vein, already in the therapeutic area, is a pioneer in the therapeutic applications of ultrasound, having performed the first treatment and published this pioneering technique in humans for the first time in the world (JACC in press May, 24, 2016). He obtained funding through research projects at the Heart Institute (InCor) funded by FAPESP (Brazilian Research Agency) at the approximate amount of US$ 2,000.000.00 in the last five years. His H Factor is 25 and was cited 2893 times in indexed Journals (IS). Throughout his career published, 233 articles in international indexed journals.
