Doctor Alejandro Armando Ventura

Dr. Alejandro Ventura was born on November 15, 1956 in Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. He completed primary studies in his hometown, and continued his studies at the Facultad de Medicina (Universidad Nacional del Nordeste). He specialized at the Cardiology Residency at the Hospital Escuela in the city of Corrientes, Argentina. He continued his studies in the city of Buenos Aires where he completed a Higher Course in Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias (Conicet). Since 1997 he has served as chief director of the Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Service of Cordis-Instituto del Corazón en Resistencia, Chaco. In his training in the specialty, he attended the hospitals of Duke University (1997), University of Kentacky (1998), St George Hospital, Hamburg (1999), Hospital Clinic, Barcelona (2002), Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid ( 2009), Unidade Clinica de Arrhythmia, Incor, San Pablo, Brazil (2009). In 2018 he was President of the Argentine Congress of Arrhythmias (Buenos Aires).
