Dr Christine Jellis is a Cardiologist and Vice Chair in the Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute of Cleveland Clinic. A native of Australia, Dr. Jellis earned her medical degree from Monash University in Melbourne and her doctorate in cardiac imaging at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, before undertaking an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, where she subsequently joined as an Imaging Cardiologist. She maintains a busy clinical practice, in addition to performing multimodality cardiac imaging with echo, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. She directs the Cardiac Sarcoidosis program and remains active in research involving multimodality imaging for the assessment of valvular disease, aortopathies, pericardial disease and right ventricular dysfunction in pulmonary hypertension, along with infiltrative and inflammatory cardiomyopathies. Dr Jellis has co-authored ~100 peer reviewed articles and is Associate Program Director of the Cardiac Imaging fellowship.
