Professor Guido Iaccarino

My work is divided between the clinical and the basic science domains. I am clinical cardiologists, expert in the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension or HF. The use of ICT support my work. I run a clinic for the prescription of physical activity for the prevention and management of chronic diseases. In Basic science, I study the mechanisms of GRKs in regulating cardiovascular function. I am a member of the WG on Myocardial function and of the Council on Hypertension. Fabry disease is my recent research topic, both in preclinical models and clinical management
