Dr. Gwo-Ping Jong is currently also a Professor, Chung Shan Medical University He received his M.D. from National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan, M.H.A from Department of Health Administration, China Medical University, Taiwan and Ph.D. from Institute of Public Health, School of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan. He was very dedicated to academic association activities and served as ex-first vice president of the Republic of China Society of Cardiology and ex-Director of Taiwan Heart Foundation. He specializes in hypertension, chest tightness, syncope, angina, severe acute heart disease, MI, hyperlipidemia, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, treatment of a variety of cardiac arrhythmias, clinical pharmacology, echocardiography, pacemaker placement and cardiac catheterization, and the coronary and peripheral vascular interventional treatment (balloon angioplasty and stenting). He has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles for the past years.
