Lilia M. Sierra-Galan, MD, FACC, FSCMR, FSCCT, FESC, is a cardiologist and advanced cardiovascular imaging specialist with expertise in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and cardiac computed tomography (CT). She is Associate Professor of Cardiology at The American British Cowdray Medical Center (ABC Medical Center), Mexico City. Her prim clinical and research interests include myocardial disease, inflammatory and infiltrative cardiomyopathies, cardiovascular risk assessment, and multimodality imaging–guided clinical decision-making, with particular emphasis on CMR tissue characterization and coronary CT angiography. Dr. Sierra-Galan is actively involved in international cardiovascular imaging societies and education. She serves as Associate Editor of European Heart Journal – Cardiovascular Imaging and has contributed to international consensus documents and multicenter research initiatives. She is the author and co-author of multiple peer-reviewed publications indexed in Web of Science.
