Biography
Thierry Le Tourneau is a Cardiologist, Professor of Physiology, Head of Exercise and Echocardiography Departments, Institut du Thorax, Inserm UMR-1087 (Cardiovascular Genetic Unit), University Hospital, Nantes, France. He is the coordinator of Translational Research in Heart Valve disease from clinical to physiopathological and genetic aspects. His research focus on native and prosthetic heart valve diseases. He published more than 100 peer review papers; 3000 citations; h-index: 31.
Scientific and medical training in the University of Lille, France; Postdoctoral fellowship in the Echo lab and Heart Valve Clinic of Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA.
