Doctor Sharif Omara

Dr. Sharif Omara studied medicine at University College London, graduating in 2017. After completing his foundation year 1 training (FY1), he returned to the Netherlands and has worked in cardiology since. In 2020, he started his PhD in cardiac electrophysiology under prof. K. Zeppenfeld at the LUMC. Sharif is fluent in Dutch, English and Arabic and has a smattering of Spanish. When he is not looking at ECGs, MRIs or R scripts, he can be found kitesurfing at the beach (when there is wind).
