Professor Jan Malik

Charles University of Prague, Prague (Czechia)

My experience comes from Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound lab and from Intensive care unit. I have been working in the field of altered hemodynamics due to dialysis arteriovenous fistula (AVF) for 20 years. The contribution of AVF flow volume is frequently underpowered in heart failure clinical decisions. Another my favorite topic are the echocardiographic changes in CKD patients - so different from the regular population and so changing with the hydration status. I work in the General University hospital in Prague.
