Ioannis Iakovou, trained in Athens, Greece (residency) CRF, NY, (research fellowship) and Milan, Italy (interventional fellowship) . He was the Distinguished Runner up in the Thomas Linnenmeier Young Investigator Award in TCT 2005, Washington, DC, USA. In 2014 he was included in the of the most influential Greek Biomedical Scientists. He is currently working as Associate Director in Interventional Cardiology Department at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, Athens, Greece.
