She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University in Lublin, Poland, with honors. She combines clinical activity as a medical doctor in cardiology with research focused on nutrition with a particular interest in cardiovascular prevention and malnutrition. She defended PhD thesis about nutritional status assessment methods. She has wide expertise in body composition assessment and dietary pattern analysis. She took up the position of the head of the Clinical Dietetics Unit at the Medical University of Lublin in 2022. She received a doctorate in science based on research about dietary antioxidants' potential in metabolic syndrome and coronary disease prevention in 2024. She speaks English and French.
