Professor Eugenia Gianos

Dr. Gianos is a Professor of Cardiology at the Zucker School of Medicine. She is System Director for Cardiovascular Prevention at Northwell Health, Director of the Women’s Heart Program at Lenox Hill Hospital and for the Western region through the Katz Institute for Women’s Health. She currently directs multiple clinical, research and teaching programs to improve cardiovascular health in the Northwell health system, with a specific focus on cardiovascular prevention in women. She is applying her expertise nationally as the chair elect of the American College of Cardiology Prevention Council, as a board member of the National Lipid Association and as chair of the ATVB-  Clinical Lipidology, Lipoprotein, Metabolism & Thrombosis Committee.
