Education: Dr. Limongelli graduated (1997) and completed his Cardiology Training (2001) at the Second University of Naples (SUN). 2002-2003: Research Fellow of The Genotyping Lab & Heart Failure Clinic at St George’s Hospital Medical School (London, UK). 2003-2004: Research Fellow of The Cobbold Lab (Middlesex Hospital) & Heart Failure Clinic (The Heart Hospital) at University College of London (UCL)(London, UK). 2004: PhD in CV Sciences (Naples,IT). 2007: European Doctorate in Biotechnology (UK) Position: He is currently an Associate Professor of Cardiology (since november 2017) at the Department of Traslational Sciences, Monaldi Hospital (AORN Colli); Honorary Senior Lecturer (since May 2017) at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, UCL (UK); Regional Coordinator of Rare Disease in Campania, Campania-Italy (since february 2018). Research interests: cardiomyopathies, inherited and rare disease, congenital heart disease, athlete's heart, heart failure
