Miss Alexandra Regia Dantas Brigido

Alexandra Brígido, MD, is a Brazilian cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. She is currently an academic affiliate at the Heart Institute (InCor), University of São Paulo, Brazil, where she is pursuing a PhD focused on machine learning for the differential diagnosis of wide-QRS tachycardias. Since 2026, she has also been a Research Fellow at Banner–University Medical Center Phoenix - University of Arizona. Her main clinical and research interests include atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, catheter ablation, electroanatomic mapping, physiological pacing and artificial intelligence in electrophysiology. She is actively involved in international scientific and educational initiatives, serving on HRS TV, the LAHRS Young EP Committee, and the Digital Communications Committee of the WSA. She is also a member of EHRA and SOBRAC. She speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
