Biography
I am a medical doctor, with a specialty in endocrinology. I am also an epidemiologist and currently direct the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit at the Gertner Institute for Epidemiology & Health Policy Research at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel. My main research activities focus on cardiovascular risk factors and morbidity; clinical trials testing interventions for the prevention and management of chronic morbidities, and health disparities.
