Ms Susana Silva

Investigation and Development of the Faculty of Medicine Association - AIDFM, Lisbon (Portugal)

Susana graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) in 2013. That same year, she took a summer course in Germany on ‘Designing devices for healthy ageing - an international challenge’. In 2015, in partnership with the University of Extremadura in Badajoz, Spain, she completed her master's degree with a thesis on ‘Gas embolism in microchannels and flow focussing technique in the production of PDMS microparticles’. Susana joined the Cardiovascular Research Support Office (GAIC) team in 2016 as Study Coordinator and has been involved in several interventional and non-interventional studies in the cardiovascular area. Later, in 2017, she joined the CRO CETERA team, where she is currently Monitoring Lead. In 2020 she attended the XI Postgraduate Course in Clinical Trials, organised by the Epidemiology Unit, Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health - Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon.
