Dr K Govender is a consultant cardiac electrophysiologist at Milpark and Sunninghill Hospital ,located in Johannesburg ,South Africa. She completed her undergraduate degree ,fellowship in internal medicine and cardiology at the university of Witwatersrand. She then completed a two year fellowship in electrophysiology in Vancouver ,Canada. Following this she returned to South Africa to commence clinical practice. Her interests include ablation of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias as well as the contribution of diet and lifestyle to the burden of heart rhythm disorders.
