Doctor Habib Khan

Dr. Habib Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Heart Rhythm Program, Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Western Ontario, Canada. He received his medical degree at the University of Peshawar, Pakistan and completed his postgraduate internal medicine in Ireland and UK; obtaining MRCP Ireland and MRCP UK. He subspecialised in adult cardiac electrophysiology with a 2-year fellowship in Nottingham and further 2-year fellowship at London Health Sciences Centre & Western University. In addition to the clinical training, he has obtained a Ph.D. at Imperial College London UK. Dr. Khan’s research interests include evaluation of atrial function using multimodality imaging in patients with atrial fibrillation and association of autonomic dysfunction in cardiac arrhythmias. His other research interests include advanced management of conduction tissue disease such as HIS Bundle pacing and left bundle area pacing.
