Dr. Satoshi Nakatani is Professor Emeritus, Osaka University, and Director, Saiseikai Senri Hospital, Japan. Dr. Nakatani is an expert of echocardiography and has a special interest in cardiac function, valvular heart disease, heart failure and new echocardiographic techniques. He enjoys teaching and doing basic and clinical research mainly regarding cardiac function. He is a former president of the Japanese Society of Echocardigoraphy. He has been named on the list of “Best Doctors in Japan” every year since 2002.
