Mrs Michele De Hosson

Michèle de Hosson graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (Netherlands) in 2005. She began her career as a nurse in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. In 2009, she earned her Master’s degree in Nursing Science from Utrecht University (Netherlands). Since May 2013, Michèle has been working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease, serving as the primary point of contact and coordinating comprehensive care for her patients. Michèle is actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving the quality of care. As the transition coordinator, she played a key role in the Transition with a Heart project and successfully defended her PhD on this program in 2024. Additionally, she serves as the coordinator of the Pregnancy Heart Team, supporting patients from pre-pregnancy throughout pregnancy and beyond.
