Dr. Bursi is a global biopharmaceutical professional specialized in Computational Modelling and Simulation (CM&S) methods, and their applications in the pharma and medical devices industry. She has obtained her PhD in Computational Chemistry at the University of Southern California, USA. Dr. Bursi has matured twenty-two years of career in multinational pharma industries like NV Organon, Schering-Plough, Merck, and Co. and Grünenthal where she has built a powerhouse of knowledge and experience across all stages of drug R&D and Registration. She is a certified Project Management Professional and has authored over thirty scientific papers in major journals, has delivered over fifty lectures and is inventor of six patents. Dr. Bursi is currently Vice President R&D at InSilicoTrials Technologies. The company’s mission is to expand the use of CM&S in healthcare by providing web-based, cloud-based technological solutions for R&D of medical products and Point-of-Care.
