Professor Eliano Pio Navarese

Prof Navarese is currently Associate Professor, Head of Clinical Experimental Cardiology, and interventional cardiologist at the University of Sassari, Italy. Formerly, he was Associate professor, interventional cardiologist and Director of Research at the Cardiovascular Institute, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland and adjunct professor at University of Alberta, Canada. He is Director of SIRIO MEDICINE (www.siriomedicine.com) an academic international research network. His expertise is in the fields of interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, antithrombotics, lipid-lowering therapies, cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, clinical trials and evidence-based medicine.
