Doctor Mary Luz Mojica Pisciotti

International Clinical Research Center of St. Annes University Hospital in Brno, Brno (Czechia)

Dr Mary Luz Mojica Pisciotti has worked in the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Research Group of the International Clinical Research Center at St. Anne's University Hospital Brno since 2019. She holds a Master's Degree in Medical Physics and a Doctoral Degree in Physics. Her current research focuses on the post-processing of CMR images for identifying biomarkers that can influence the prediction of early myocardial dysfunction. Alongside, she studies potential applications of CMR feature tracking in several cardiac conditions and develops dedicated algorithms for image processing. Using and programming machine-learning-based models for image processing is also part of her interests. Her scientific approach aims to support healthcare specialists in recognising the early signs of heart failure.
