Professor Qian Zhou

Dr. Zhou received her MD from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. She completed her clinical training in internal medicine and cardiology at the University Hospital and Heart Center Freiburg, Germany. After her postdoctoral research training in molecular cardiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, she returned to Freiburg and worked as a clinician scientist on heart failure/ heart transplantation. She became faculty member of the medical faculty at the University of Freiburg in 2017. She than joined the Department of Cardiology, University Hospital Basel, Switzerland as an attending cardiologist. Since 2022 she is senior consultant at the Department of Internal Medicine, University Hospital Basel. Her clinical focus is on Internal Medicine and Heart Failure. Her research interests are heart failure and digital health.
