Doctor Mohammad Yousuf Salmasi

Dr Salmasi is a clinical research fellow at the Department of Surgery and Cancer and active member of the London Aortic Mechanobiology Working Group. He is undertaking a PhD in the field of cardiovascular sciences on the topic of thoracic aortic aneurysms and predictive models for aortic dissection. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2011 with distinction and is currently a National Resident Trainee in Cardiothoracic Surgery. His research is supported by the NIHR Imperial BRC and British Heart Foundation Centre for Research Excellence,
