Biography
Berkan Kurt, MD, is a cardiology resident and clinician scientist at the Department of Cardiology, Angiology, and Internal Intensive Care Medicine at the University Hospital Aachen, Germany. He obtained his medical degree from RWTH Aachen University after studying in Aachen and at the University of Basel, Switzerland. His research focuses on inflammation, immunocardiology, and cardiometabolic disease, with a particular interest in translational and clinical studies.
