Biography
Dr Julia Grapsa is an associate physician, specialized in valvular heart disease and echocardiography. She is the Director for Education in echocardiography at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and faculty staff for Harvard Medical School. Prior to this position, she served as an attending cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trustin London since March 2020. She led the imaging team for tricuspid services. Prior to that position, she was director for non-invasive cardiology at Royal London Hospital. She has been an attending cardiologist since 2013. From an academic perspective, she served as Associate Professor for Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine 2016-2018, Associate Professor for Queen Mary University and Kings College London. She was the founding editor in chief, for JACC Case Reports, under American College of Cardiology. She owns the foundation of JACC Case Reports Peer Review Mentoring Program (later ACC peer review program) and other initiatives.
