Prof. Pasquale Vergara the Head of the Advanced Cardiac Arrhythmias Program at the University Hospital of Naples "Federico II". He is a clinical arrhythmologist expert in the interventional treatment of complex arrhythmias, and performs ablation procedures of atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, supraventricular tachycardias, and zerofluoroscopy procedures, CIED implants and wireless biventricular devices implants. He also coordinates the Sports Arrhythmias Clinic, which is aimed at both professional athletes and amateur sportsmen. Research activity is focused on: advanced ablation techniques of ventricular tachycardias, predictors of successful catheter ablation, arrhythmias in athletes, arrhythmogenic dysplasia. Prof. Vergara is a member of the International VT Ablation Center Collaborative Group and of the Atrial Fibrillation Study Group of the Italian Association of Arrhythmology. He constantly participates as a speaker at international mettings. His H-index is 34.
