Pasquale Vergara is senjor staff member at Arrhythmology Unit of the San Raffaele Hospital, Milan Italy. He received his MD from University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy.
His clinical interest is focused on the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias.
He is author or co-author of >50 papers or book chapters and is presenter of 41 talks at meeting. The main topics of his studies are the treatment of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
He is member of the European Heart Rhythm Association, Italian Society of Cardiology, Italian Association of Arrhythmology and Cardiostimulation, Italian Society of Sport Cardiology. He participated to the Editorial Board of several International Journals.
Atrial high rate episodes increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and mortality in patients with implantable defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices.
