Miss Kelly Victor

Kelly is a clinical scientist in cardiology with 15 years experience in echocardiography. She has advanced skills in 2D and 3D transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress, bubble, and critical care echocardiography. She is the lead clinical scientist for heart valve disease and transoesophageal echocardiography at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, UK. She has completed a Masters in Research and postgraduate qualifications in cardiac ultrasound, teaching and education, and leadership and management in healthcare science. She is currently completing a Doctorate in Clinical Science. Her research is focussed on percutaneous mitral valve intervention and whether cardiac imaging combined with demographic, clinical and biomarker data can better predict patient outcomes. Kelly holds accreditation with the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) and is the communication lead for the BSE. She is a fellow with the America Society of Echocardiography.
