Agnieszka Kapłon-Cieślicka, MD, PhD, FESC, is a cardiologist, a certified echocardiographer (Expert of the Echocardiography Association of the Polish Cardiac Society) and professor at the 1st Chair and Department of Cardiology, Medical University of Warsaw. Her current clinical interests and research focus on heart failure (including heart failure with preserved ejection fraction), atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease (including echonavigation during structural heart interventions). She is a co-author of over 130 publications indexed in PubMed with an IF of over 400 and a H-index of 20. She was president of the "Club 30" (young community) of the Polish Cardiac Society, PCS (2021-2023), and is president elect of the Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy Section of the PCS. She was a National Coordinator of the European Exam in Core Cardiology 2022 and 2023 in Poland. In 2022, she was awarded 1st place in the Polish "Supertalents in Medicine" competition.
