Biography
Biomedical scientist with a PhD in Molecular Biosciences and international experience in translational cardiovascular research. Specialized in innate immunity, calcium signaling, and atrial remodeling, with first-author publications in high-impact journals (e.g., JACC: BTS, IJMS, Acta Physiologica). Strong background in molecular pharmacology, animal models, and cardiac inflammation. Awarded multiple grants and honors, including ESC travel and poster awards. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at IdiPAZ, contributing to nationally funded projects on innate immune signaling and heart failure. Experienced in scientific communication, teaching, and AI-enhanced research workflows. Completed a PhD research stay at Baylor College of Medicine (USA). Highly motivated to contribute to cardiac science through collaborative, patient-oriented research.
