Biography
Dr McDermott is a British Heart Foundation Cardiology Research Fellow working at the University of Edinburgh. He is also an Honorary Clinical Registrar at NHS Lothian. His research interests include prevention, detection and management of coronary artery disease. He has a focus on biomarkers, healthcare data, and coronary imaging to guide research and care for patients with the aim to prevent myocardial infarction and cardiac death.
