Omar M. Abdelfattah is a medical graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. He completed his clinical research fellowship with the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, USA. He is currently a resident physician at the Department of Internal Medicine, Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, New Jersey, USA. His main research interest is in the intersection of preventative cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, with a special focus on Structural interventions(TAVR, MitraClip) and cardiovascular disease in special populations. Dr. Abdelfattah serves as a Section Editor of Internal Journal of Clinical Research and, Junior Editor at EHJ Case reports, a reviewer for several cardiology-focused peer-reviewed scientific journals based in the United States and UK.
