Raimondo Pittorru is a Cardiology Resident at the University Hospital of Padua. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery (cum laude and special mention) in 2020. Currently he is pursuing a Ph.D. Course on Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Padua. In 2023 he won the scholarship for the Master’s on Cardiac magnetic resonance. He has published some papers focused on subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD), transvenous lead extraction (TLE) and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy. His clinical and research fields of interest include sudden cardiac death, cardiomyopathies and channelopathies, arrhythmogenic mitral valve prolapse, S-ICD, EV-ICD, LifeVest, TLE, cardiac magnetic resonance, invasive and non-invasive cardiac mapping strategies. His goal is to provide the highest quality patient care, to support the added value of a multidisciplinary team, and put himself in a position to know more.
