Juma El-awaisi is a researcher and a pharmacist with vast experience in business and management. After graduating from the school of pharmacy at the age of 20, Juma took a different path and moved towards business and marketing were he co-founded a technology start-up. Braci has received several awards and recognitions, both nationally and internationally and has a wide range of applications from machine diagnostics to an alert platform.Since then, he has completed a master in advanced pharmacology and is now undergoing a PhD in cardiovascular research. He is interested at looking at novel targets for patients who have suffered from a heart attack. Within his final year of studying pharmacy, Juma saw a small gap within health care system in the Middle East in GP’s so Juma decided to invent a GP kiosk, which diagnosis, measures, prescribes and dispenses medication to the user; this was with the help of the reality TV show focused on innovators ‘Stars of Science’.
