Doctor Firdaus Mat Lawi

Firdaus is an interventional cardiologist and internal medicine specialist. He is currently employed at Hospital Sultan Idris Shah Serdang, Malaysia's largest public-funded cardiac centre. He previously worked as a senior speciality registrar in interventional cardiology at the Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol, and Weston NHS Trust, both in the UK. He is actively conducting research on cardiovascular risk reduction, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure. He presented his research at two international conferences in 2023: the ESC Congress in Amsterdam and the PCR London Valves in London. He actively participated in post-graduate training in MRCP (UK) and undergraduate teaching. He is an active examiner and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London. He has excellent English and Malay speaking skills. He enjoys listening to music while he runs.
