Firdaus is an in internal medicine specialist and is currently employed with the Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol and Weston NHS Trust, United Kingdom as a specialty registrar in cardiology. In Malaysia, where I am stationed, I am completing my final year of training to become an interventional cardiologist in Ministry of Health. He actively pursues research on cardiovascular risk reduction studies, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure. He actively participated in post-graduate training in MRCP (UK) and undergraduate teaching. He is an active examiner and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London. He has excellent English and Malay speaking skills. He enjoys listening to music while he runs.
