Doctor Andreas Boehmer

Dr Andreas Boehmer is an assistant physician in the Department of Cardiology at St. Josefs-Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany. Under the supervision of Professor Joachim Ehrlich, his research focuses on the interventional therapy of supraventricular tachycardia. He pays particular attention to the treatment of patients with tachycardiomyopathy. In this context, ongoing POLAR-HF trial - one of his main projects - evaluates the efficacy and safety of cryoballoon ablation in patients with heart failure.
