Giulia Iannaccone graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2017. During medical school, she attendend the Cardiology Department of the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Subsequently, she underwent a post-graduate Cardiology traineeship at the Erasmus Thorax Centre in Rotterdam. She completed her residency in Cardiology in 2022 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. During her residency, she underwent a fellowship in Cardiomyopathies at the Careggi Hospital in Florence. At present, she is a PhD candidate at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and works as a Cardiology Consultant in Echocardiography, Cardiomyopathies and ACHD at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome. From December 2023 to June 2024 she attended a clinical and research fellowship in ACHD and CMR at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. She speaks fluently English and Spanish and holds level C1 certifications of both languages.
