Doctor Yingyan Chen

Dr Yingyan (Lisa) Chen has strong interests in cardiovascular nursing research, health service re-design, and nurse education in acute and critical care settings. She is a member of the CONNECT team with the aim of fostering and supporting international cardiac surgery research to address global cardiac surgery challenges and is also an executive member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) and the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association (ACRA). Lisa is committed to bridging the ‘know-do’ gap and is actively involved in the ICU discharge study and promotes same-day PCI with the ultimate goal of streamlining the discharge process to address the bed block issue in Australian hospitals.
