Dr Erin Michos is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins University, with joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Heath & Associate Director of Preventive Cardiology with the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Michos is an internationally known expert in Preventive Cardiology and has authored over 700 publications. Her clinical and research expertise are in Advanced Lipid Disorders, Cardiometabolic Diseases, and Women's Cardiovascular Health. She also has clinical expertise in advanced adult echocardiogaphy. She is the co-Editor in Chief for the American Journal of Preventive Cardiology & a Guest Editor for Circulation. Dr Michos is recipient of National Institutes of Health and American Heart Association funding.
