Miss Dorota Wojcik

Royal Free Hospital, London (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

Member of:

Dorota Wojcik started her career as a cardiac catheter lab nurse in 2008 in one of the hospitals in North West London. She almost instantly fell in love with this type of nursing, where ever changing dynamics of the job created lots of challenges and opportunists to work closely within a team, as well as a chance to grow and develop herself. Dorota became a champion in developing opportunities for her fellow nurses and other members of the team in finding ways to expand nurses knowledge by organising teaching sessions and workshops. Her passion and dream to expand nursing role within cath lab led her to develop (together with other members of the team) a new pathway for nurse led radial access which consisted of a structured teaching program including teaching sessions and hands on supervised practice for nurses to perform safe transradial access.
