Professor Mboyo Di Tamba Willy Vangu

He is a full Professor and Assistance Head of School of Clinical Medicine at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand. He also is the Academic Head of the department of Radiation Sciences and the division of Nuclear Medicine at the CM Johannesburg Academic Hospital and CH Baragwanath Academic Hospital, both being public institutions linked with the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He holds following degrees: MD, Med, MSc and PhD. His PhD was on investigating silent schema in black African diabetic patients and has interest in cardiac amyloidosis in people of African origin. As an imaging specialist, he has other research interest in infection and oncology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (post nominal). His personal hobby varies from reading, football, Golf and formula 1 racing. He speaks English, French and several African languages.
