Cathy has worked in the Cardiology Department at Auckland City Hospital for the last 4 years as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist. Prior to this, she had extensive Coronary Care Nursing experience both at Auckland District Health Board and Waitemata District Health Board. She gained Nurse Prescribing Rights in 2018. Cathy has been integral in the setting up of Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Led clinics at Auckland City Hospital. She is passionate about empowerment of patients to prevent further cardiovascular events, through optimisation of treatment.
