Tommaso Viva graduated in Medicine at the University of Pisa in 2017 and completed the Cardiology board examination at the University of Milan in November 2022. He spent one year (from November 2021 to November 2022) in the Echo Laboratory of the Cardiology Department of the Liege University Hospital, where he had the opportunity to focus and develop skills in all the echo modalities: resting, pharmacological stress, exercise, transoesophageal, interventional. During this period, he was also involved in research programs. In particular, he focused on the staging systems of cardiac damage due to severe aortic stenosis. Since November 2022, he has been responsible for the Echocardiographic Program (both intraoperative and outpatient) of the Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery Department. He regularly holds courses in advanced Echocardiography (especially, 3D TTE and TOE). He speaks fluent English and French.
