Biography
Edward Itelman is a Cardiology Resident. He received his MD from Tel Aviv University, completing a dissertation on electrocardiographic features of acute pericarditis under the supervision of Prof. Michael Arad, earning a prize for excellence and novelty.
His research spans multiple fields within cardiology. He has published extensively, with over 25 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, and regularly presents at international cardiology conferences. Dr. Itelman’s current research emphasizes integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into clinical cardiology, developing predictive models for clinical deterioration and decision-support tools for clinicians. He is also involved in several commercial AI-based projects.
Committed to teaching, Dr. Itelman supervises medical students and doctoral candidates in clinical practice and research, consistently receiving excellent lecturer evaluations. In his personal he enjoys hiking and exploring nature with his family.
