Matthew Mace, B.Sc. is a qualified Clinical Physiologist from the University of Middlesex specializing in Cardiology. Having started with a cardiology department in 2009, he began to sub-specialize in Cardiac Rhythm Management with a focus on Heart Failure and Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT), which was the focus of his research dissertation. Subsequently, Matthew worked for St Jude (Abbott), where he continued to focus clinically on HF and co-developed algorithms and training programs for the electrocardiographic optimization of CRT, launching CardioMEMS commercially in the UK and supporting the European studies for technology reimbursement. Recently, Matthew has been working across various segments of the artificial Intelligence product or research space, predominantly in advanced cardiac applications. Chief of which is in MRI imaging for myocardial perfusion, Electrophysiology scar quantification, ECG point of care decision-making, and Intracardiac Pressure (ICP) monitor
