Dr Perssons main interests are heart failure, chronic and after acute myocardial infarction. Imaging interest to find objective diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction including the search for patophysiological mechanisms and ultimately finding new and effective treatments for this condition. Last but not least is the research interest trying to improve real world heart failure care by improving logistics and process of care, including using e-Health Tools.
