Hans Persson Associate professor MD PhD FESC is a Senior Consultant and Medical Director of the Heart Failure Programme at Department of Cardiology, Danderyd Hospital, Stockholm. Senior Advisor Cardiology for Stockholm County Council.
Dr Perssons main interests are heart failure, chronic and after acute myocardial infarction. Imaging is Another main interest is to find objective diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction including the search for mechanisms and ultimately finding new and effective treatments for this condition. Further use of natriuretic peptides for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of heart failure. Last but not least is the interest trying to improve real world heart failure care by improving logistics and process of care, including using e-Health Tools.
