Doctor Sunil Mankad

Dr. Mankad is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Society of Echocardiography. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Division of Cardiovascular Disease at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He currently is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and serves as Director of Transesophageal Echocardiography as well as Co-Chair Education, Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Echocardiography from 2013-2016 and was the program Chair of the American Society of Echocardiography Scientific Sessions in 2018. He has published more than 100 scientific manuscript and numerous teaching awards including the 2016 Richard Popp Excellence in Teaching Award from the American Society of Echocardigraphy.
