He was born in August 1971 in Turkey. He graduated from Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 with a degree. He completed his first specialty in medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. During his specialization, he was awarded the "Prof Dr M. Şeref Zileli Award-1997-Successful Assistant of the Year".He completed his specialization in Cardiology as his second specialty in medicine in Eskişehir Osmangazi University in December 2001. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in February 2013. Since June 2020, he has been working in Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. He served as a board member at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, deputy dean and as the Vice Rector at University. He worked as Turkish Cardiology Association Hypertension WG President (2014-2016). the European Cardiologist (2002), FESC (2003) and observer cardiologist at McMaster University
